Review

This review applies to version 2.3 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

Daniusoft Media Converter Pro is an application that helps you convert DRM protected video and audio files like wma, wmv, asf, m4v, m4a, m4p, m4b. It also supports high definition video conversion (including support for m2ts, tp, trp, ts, avi, wmv), and common media conversion (mp4, mpg, mpeg, 3gp, rm, rmvb, dat, mov, flv, vob, mp3, wav, m4a, wma files).

You can configure output settings like frame rate, bit rate, encoder, resolution, zoom, etc. or choose a profile for the most common portable devices and players (like iPod, iPhone, PSP, PS3, Mobile phone, Windows Mobile, Apple TV, etc).

This application has a nice graphic interface, and supports many formats and conversions, but it has no editing functions (because of the methods used to allow DRM removal). A free limited trial is available for those who want to test this program.

System Requirements:

Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista (32-bit)
1GHz or faster x86-compatible processor including Intel and AMD CPUs
512MB or larger RAM
Windows Media Player
DirectX 9.0 or above
iTunes 7.6.2.9 or above
Advantages
  • Converts protected files.
  • Supports many audio and video formats.
  • Easy to use
Disadvantages
  • No editing features.
  • Converts by recording the screen, that brings some problems.
